If you love sweet breakfast foods (or snacks), but want to avoid the guilt of eating high-calorie and non-nutritious foods: this recipe will satisfy that sweet-tooth while delivering tons of fiber and nutrients to your body!

Oats

Cinnamon
contains anti-oxidant and anti-inflammatory properties
helps with metabolism and insulin-resistance
Banana
high in vitamin K and soluble fiber
contain anti-oxidant properties

Prep Time: 15 min
Ingredients:
1/4 cup rolled oats
1/4 cup vanilla almond milk
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon powder
1/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 Tbsp maple syrup
1 whole egg
1 whole banana, ripened
Instructions:
In a small microwave-safe bowl, mashed the banana until the consistency is even.
Add the egg and whisk together.
Add ground cinnamon, oats, milk, maple syrup, and sea salt. Whisk until well-mixed.
Stir in the chocolate chips.
Microwave on high heat, uncovered, for 2 minutes.
Stir the mixture until the chocolate has mixed evenly. This should result in a consistent brown / chocolate colored mixture.
Microwave on high heat, uncovered, for 6 minutes.
Let cool to desired eating temperature (or chill if you prefer it cold), and enjoy!
