No french fries are "healthy" but... personally if I'm craving some fries, I might as well have a version that won't wreck my diet. This recipe simplifies fries and removes a huge amount of the fat content by avoiding the deep-fry method to cooking them!

Cook Time: 30 min
Ingredients:
1 medium russet potato
2 Tbsp grated parmesan cheese
2 Tbsp garlic olive oil
2 Tbsp chopped thyme
Sea salt (to taste)
Optional: black garlic seasoning
Optional: ground black pepper
Instructions:
Cut the potato into desired size pieces. I found that the following dimensions per piece work best with this recipe: 1/4 inch thick, 1/8 inch deep, and 4 inches long.
In a mixing bowl, add the potatoes, olive oil, and thyme. Mix until the potatoes are well-coated.
Grease the air-fryer and add the potato mixture. Optional but recommended: sprinkle some black garlic and ground black pepper onto the potatoes.
Air fry at 400 degrees for 20 minutes. Shake once at the 10-minute time point (halfway through).
Transfer to a serving dish. Top with grated parmesan and sea salt; Enjoy! *Note: try dipping these in ranch!
